Carmine Galasso, a well-regarded photographer in the editorial and corporate worlds, has been on assignment photographing people and covering stories in the U.S. and abroad. He has been published worldwide, while receiving many awards for his work.
Because of his understanding of light and form, his work is artful with elegant choreography, which is a byproduct of his patience and ability to anticipate situations.
Carmine likes people and has the ability to get inside different worlds. He is comfortable interacting with corporate giants, people in the arts, in their homes, at work, or on the street. He’s versatile, sympathetic, and able to communicate deeply felt emotions, or a sense of humor, in his work.
Carmine is the author of the critically acclaimed monograph, “Crosses”, published in 2007 by Trolley Books in London. It was mentioned as a photo book of the year by PDN (Photo District News) in 2008.
Carmine is based in New York City.
